The argan tree grows almost nowhere but southern Morocco. It survives the drought by reaching deep, drops its leaves in the dry season, and comes back green. ARGANA plays the same way: patient, rooted, hypnotic.
Between two shores.
Raised between Agadir and Casablanca. Built in Barcelona. European club culture and North African heritage in one set, without the costume.
He built his own room.
Barcelona had no true home for Afro House, so ARGANA founded ZAYA and plays it as resident. Two editions at Hotel El Palace.
Built for the long build.
Rolling percussion, long tension, grooves that take their time. Moroccan rhythms and Arabic phrases only where they belong. With sound on, this ring is moving to his set.
